Travis Ervin Hitt

HITT, Rev. Travis Ervin, 94, a resident of Patsburg died Tuesday September 20, 2011. Funeral services will be 2 pm Thursday September 22, 2011 at the Patsburg Baptist Church with Rev. Malcolm Butts, Rev. William Leverette and Rev. Wayne Webber officiating. Interment will follow in Live Oak Cemetery with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Bro. Hitt is preceded in death by his wife, Getty M. Hitt; a son-in-law, Jimmy R. Morgan; parents, Clark and Arbella Hitt; and six brothers, Arthur, Bill, Herman, Lyman, J.P. and Horace Hitt. Survivors include his daughter and son-in-law, Penny and Tom Perdue; two grandsons, Jace (Angie) Morgan and Jon (Misty) Morgan; and five great grandchildren, Sydney, Anna Rae, Kelsey, Maggie and Jamie Morgan. Active pallbearers will be Raymond Trotter, David Pippin, Edward Fowler, Billy Ray Norman, Wilbur Tomberlin, Johnny Nichols and Jerry Kilcrease. The family will receive friends at the funeral home Wednesday from 6pm until 8pm.
