Truman Taylor

TAYLOR, Mr. Truman, 71, a resident of Ozark, Alabama, passed away on Sunday, September 4, 2016. Funeral services for Mr. Taylor will be held at 2 PM on Saturday, September 10, from the Chapel of Turner Funeral Home with Jay Crossette delivering the eulogy. Interment will follow in Mt. Ida Cemetery with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mr. Taylor was preceded in death by his parents, F.M. and Jessie Lee Bodiford Taylor, two sisters, Frances Brownlee and Dorothy Compton, and brother, George Taylor. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Susan Moore Taylor, three brothers, Oscar (Jean) Taylor, Travis Taylor, and Sam (Nonie) Taylor, brother-in-law, Wilburn Compton, and numerous nieces and nephews. Active pallbearers will be Daniel Haefner, Kevin Haefner, Patrick Senkbeil, Rick Senkbeil, Rusty Taylor, and Jason Taylor. The family requests that any memorial donations be made to one’s favorite charity. They will receive friends at the funeral home on Saturday from 1 – 2pm.
