Vicki Smith Furr

FURR, Mrs. Vicki Smith, 51, a resident of Brantley, Alabama, died Saturday, October 11, 2014. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM on Wednesday, October 15, 2014 at Mt. Zion Baptist Church with Rev. Timothy Davis officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mrs. Furr was preceded in death by her parents, Willie and Martha Ruth Smith, Sr. She is survived by her husband of 24 years, James D. Furr; four brothers, Willie (June) Smith, Jr., Eldrid (Nancy) Smith, Tommy (Brenda) Smith, and Paul (Lori) Smith; along with a number of loving nieces and nephews. Active pallbearers will be Steve Smith, Scott Smith, Sandy Smith, Bill Hall, Wayne Edgar, Kenneth Morgan, and Kellen Smith. The family will receive friends at the church on Wednesday from 12:30 pm until service time.
