Vivian Morgan Walker

WALKER, Mrs. Vivian Morgan, 78, a resident of Luverne, Alabama, passed away on Monday, October 3, 2016. Funeral services for Mrs. Walker will be held at 11 AM on Saturday, October 8, at South Luverne Baptist Church with Dr. Sam Tate and Brother Don Yancey officiating. Interment will follow in Vernledge Cemetery in Luverne, Alabama with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mrs. Walker was preceded in death by her husband of 46 years, Preston Walker, parents, C.R. and Sarah Davis Morgan, daughter, Wanda Jean Allen, son, Kenneth Ray Walker, grandson, Steven Scott Rich, and brother, Mike Morgan. She is survived by her three sons, Edward E. Walker, Anthony C. (Tammy) Walker, and Dennis Glenn Walker, six grandchildren, Jessie Lee Walker, Anthony Edward Walker, Alaina (Blake) Deshazo, Michael Dewayne Rich, Tammy Renee Benton, and Whitney Lelius Walker, six great-grandchildren, and sister-in-law, Janice Morgan. Active pallbearers will be Troy Morgan, Justin Morgan, Keith Watkins, Dave Watkins, Fred Watkins, Buck Watkins, and Kyle Brown. The family requests that any memorial donations be made to either South Luverne Baptist Church or Vernledge Cemetery Fund, c/o Linda Head, 100 Statford Road, Dothan, Alabama 36303. They will receive friends at the church on Saturday from 10 – 11 AM.
