William Vandy Beasley

BEASLEY, Mr. William Vandy “Chic”, a loving brother, uncle, and friend entered eternity on Sunday, September 9, 2012. Chic was born February 4, 1953 in Troy, AL. Growing up in Highland Home, Chic later owned and operated “Crimson Titles, LLC” in Atlanta, Georgia for 20 years. Funeral services will be held Friday, September 14, 2012 at 2 PM from Turner Funeral Home Chapel with Ferrell Holt officiating. Interment will follow in Sardis Cemetery with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Chic was preceded in death by his parents, Vanzie and Merlie Beasley. He is survived by his brother, Randy (Sharon) Beasley, and two sisters, Loretta (Ferrell) Holt and Rita Beasley; six nephews, Randal (Rebecca) Beasley, Jason (Miriam) Holt, Jonathan (Chelsey) Holt, Christopher Holt, Mitch Beasley, and Jake Beasley; and four nieces, Raina (Jayme) Yarroch, Shae (Derek) McCullough, Shanna (Shannon) Malone, and Brittany (Calab) Grey. Chic served as God-Grandparent to 22 great nieces and nephews and was loved by them dearly. He is also survived by The Gorden Loft family and friends in Atlanta, Georgia and a host of other family and friends. Pallbearers will be his nephews, Randal Beasley, Jason Holt, John Holt, Chris Holt, Mitch Beasley, and Jake Beasley. The family will receive friends at Turner Funeral Home Thursday evening from 6 – 8 pm.
