William O'Neal Sexton

March 2, 1955 — November 27, 2021

Highland Home

Mr. William O. "Neal" Sexton, a resident of Highland Home, Alabama, passed away unexpectedly on Saturday, November 27th, 2021. A memorial service will be held at 2:00 PM on Saturday December 4, at Magnolia Baptist Church with Rev. Chuck Francisco officiating.

Mr. Sexton spent his entire working career in the construction industry. He was primarily a welder, but he also loved doing carpentry work whenever he was able to do so. He believed strongly in the value of a hard day's work throughout his life, and certainly practiced what he believed. In his free time, he thoroughly enjoyed spending time outdoors either fishing or going for hikes in the beautiful scenery provided by nature. He also relished an evening spent on the couch watching his favorite TV shows and movies. Above all, he was a loving father, fiancé, brother, uncle, and friend who will be dearly missed by all those who knew and loved him.

Mr. Sexton was preceded in death by his parents, Billy O'Neal & Sarah Nell Fowler Sexton. He is survived by his loving fiancée, Cindy Headley; children, Heather Sexton, and Brian Sexton, as well as their mother, Doreen Gail Duncan; his siblings, Patricia Davis, Lynda Sexton, and Butch Sexton; and several nieces and nephews.

The family will receive friends at the Magnolia Baptist Church on Saturday at 2:00 PM.
