SMITH, Mr. William S. “Bill,” 76, a resident of Andalusia, Alabama, passed away on Saturday, May 19, 2018. A memorial service for Mr. Smith will be held at 11 AM on Thursday, May 24, at the First Baptist Church of Luverne. Mr. Smith proudly served his country with the United States Marine Corps Reserves for six years. He was preceded in death by his wife, Sue Mount Smith; parents, Joe and Bess Spivey Smith; sister, Margaret Ann Holliday; and brother, Mickey Smith. Mr. Smith is survived by his two children, David (Lisa) Smith and Laura (Mike) Jones; and his brother, Laurence (Debbie) Smith. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial donations be made to the First Baptist Church of Luverne. They will receive friends at the church on Thursday from 10 - 11 AM.
