William Farley Spear, Jr.

SPEAR, Mr. William F. “ Bill “, Jr., 88, a resident of Birmingham and formerly of Lapine died Sunday January 8, 2012. Graveside services will be 12 pm Thursday January 12, 2012 at Rocky Mount Cemetery, Highland Home, AL with Rev. Andrew Nolin officiating and Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mr. Spear is survived by his wife, Fayte P. Spear; two sons, James Farley ( Sissy ) Spear and William C. ( Linda ) Spear; three grandchildren, Jamie Spear Cord, Christopher Spear and LaKin Spear; and a brother, Farrar L. Spear. Active pallbearers will be Ricky Webster, Joe Brinkley, Lewis May, Cecil Spear, Dee Hawk and Tommy Champion. The family will receive friends at the cemetery Thursday from 11 am until service time. The family requests that any memorials donations be made to the Lapine Baptist Church, P.O. Box 95, Lapine, AL 36046.
