William Waverly Williams

WILLIAMS, Rev. William Waverly, 67, a resident of Rutledge, AL died Saturday, July 17, 2010. A funeral service was held Wednesday, July 21, 2010 at 2 PM from Turner Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. William Leverette officiating and Turner Funeral Home directing. Rev. Williams is preceded in death by his parents, William Travis Williams and Doris Lewis; two brothers, Larry Williams and Charles Ed Williams; and two sisters, Linda Flowers and Reba Diane Williams. He is survived by his wife of 46 years, Jeanette Williams; three daughters, Teresia Simpler, Reba (Marvin) Wimpee, and Lisa (Scotty) Powell; eleven grandchildren; fifteen great grandchildren; five sisters, Peggy Hurley, Martha Wolfe, Betty Sanders, Debra Warrick, and Mary Ellen Richardson; and two brothers, Jerry Williams and Danny Lewis. Honorary pallbearers were Marvin Wimpee, Jr., Christopher Wimpee, William Powell, Jason Powell, David Adams, and Kent Barganier.
