Willie Pearl Mitchell

Mitchell, Mrs. Willie Pearl Andrews, 89, went to be with the Lord on August 18, 2016. Pearl was preceded in death by her husband of 65 years, Douglas, and her son, Elton. Left to cherish her memory is her daughter, Lydia, son-in-law, Jim McNeal, and daughter-in-law, Mary Mitchell. She will also be missed by her four grandchildren, Tiffany Mitchell Worthington, Brent Mitchell, Monica McNeal-Kopin and Andrew McNeal, as well as seven great-grandchildren, and one great great-grandchild. Pearl leaves behind one sibling, Merle Newton, and a host of nieces and nephews. Pearl loved her family and was always happiest when surrounded by them. Visitation will be held at 10am on Thursday, August 25, at Brantley Baptist Church, and funeral services will immediately follow at 11am with the Rev. Travis Johnson officiating. She will be laid to rest at Brantley Cemetery. Memorials may be made in Pearl’s name to Brantley Baptist Church or the American Cancer Society.
