Mrs. Wilma Revel, 94, a resident of Luverne, Alabama, passed away in her home on Monday, November 20, 2017. Funeral services for Wilma will be held at 10 a.m. on Saturday, November 25, at Patsburg Baptist Church with Rev. Malcolm Butts, Rev. Danny Duncan, and Rev. Joe Leverette officiating and Chad Bender delivering the eulogy. Interment will follow at Emmaus Cemetery with Turners Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Wilma was an active Christian, and a member of Patsburg Baptist Church since her early teen years where she sang in the church choir. She worked at the Luverne Bank and Trust as a teller for 27 years. In retirement, she remained very involved with the community, serving as a pink lady at the hospital for 21 years. Wilma diligently cared for her 101 year-old sister, Myra Farrior, who went to be with the Lord in June of this year. Wilma was preceded in death by her husband, Seigel Revel, parents, Will C. and Emma Perrett Farrior, and sisters, Myrtha and Myra Farrior. She is survived by her daughter, Joanne Mills (Paul) Wilkes, granddaughter, Melanie Bender (John) Fornal, grandson, Chad E. (Lisa) Bender, two great-grandsons, Andrew Fornal and Chace Fornal, and three great-granddaughters, Julia Bender, Lauren Bender, and Amber Bender. Active pallbearers will be Chad Bender, Chace Fornal, John Fornal, Winston Farrior, Dennis Moseley, Robert Cope, Jace Morgan, and Jon Morgan. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Friday, November 24, from 6 – 8pm.
