Winston Hamilton Perdue

PERDUE, Mr. Winston Hamilton, 93, a resident of Luverne, AL, died Wednesday, May 20, 2015. Funeral services will be held at 2 PM on Friday, May 22, 2015 at Centenary Assembly of God Church with Dr. Robert Carter officiating. Interment will follow in the church cemetery with Turner Funeral Home of Luverne directing. Mr. Perdue was preceded in death by his parents, Andrew and Minnie Perdue; two brothers, William Clarence Perdue and Weyth Perdue; and two sisters. He is survived by his wife of 44 years, Catherine Pittman Perdue; two children, Marion (Billy Jack) Rayfield and Joseph (Glenda) Perdue; three grandchildren, Andrew (Kelley) Perdue, II, Katrinya (Gabe) Gonzalez, and Stephen (Nancy) Rayfield; and four great-grandchildren. Active pallbearers will be Joseph Perdue, Andrew Perdue, Stephen Rayfield, Gabe Gonzolez, Logan Perdue, and Andrew Perdue, III. In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to the Centenary Assembly of God Cemetery Fund. The family will receive friends at the church Friday afternoon beginning at 1:00 pm until service time.
